Hello, my name is Alaina Norman, Administrator of Country Place Senior Living in Greenville, AL.

I am a native of Greenville and Butler County and joined the Country Place Senior Living team in December of 2014 as the Activity Director. Our jobs at Country Place are similar to what you would see at your own home. We work in multiple capacities and provide care however it is needed. One morning I could be leading our Seniorcise group, and then be reprograming one of our resident’s TV remotes by that afternoon. I have learned to wear many hats, but that is what our residents deserve, and it truly makes being at Country Place more like a family.

I have recently been hired as the Administrator for our building and I am so excited to grow into this role. I have extensive experience in caring for older adults, which began with caring for my grandmother, and I take caring for seniors to a personal level. I have servant’s heart that gives me an insight into what our residents are feeling, and what their families are feeling. This is one of my best attributes as it relates to providing quality care. This also allows me to be a great leader with our staff.

The Country Place family consists of our residents, our resident families, and our staff. As the leader of that staff, I try every day to provide the best example so we can bring passion and dedication to giving our seniors the best quality of life possible. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn each of the daily roles from the kitchen to the caregivers so I can lead an effective team.

I have real heart for serving others, a love for leading people, and a penchant for making others laugh. With most blessings, there comes a lot of work, and Country Place is no different. We all strive to be the best we can possibly be. Country Place Senior Living is one of a kind and our residents and staff make it a place that I hope you and your family will come to love and appreciate. I look forward to meeting you and your family and help by providing the care that is needed and deserved.
